East Melbourne Garden

The Henry House project involved the transformation of a 19th-century Victorian terrace in East Melbourne, blending heritage architecture with contemporary design to suit modern living. The front garden features soft, traditional planting in a relaxed style that complements the historic façade, while the north-facing courtyard seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor spaces through pivoting glass doors, consistent paving, and a sleek concrete bench. Highlights include a reflection pool, a leafy Boston Ivy backdrop, an espaliered citrus and herb garden, and a discreet carport concealed by Star Jasmine climbers. A historic apple tree, preserved during the renovation, adds a timeless touch to the lower garden.
